The Development of New Structural Steels in Canada

F OR many years, only one grade of structural steel has been used in volume in Canada. Its cha racteristics have not been altered appr eciably and its long use speaks well for its p erformance. This standard grade of structural steel may be bought and specified as C.S.A. G40.4 steel or the American equivalent, A.S.T.M. A7.
