The Correlation of Kootenay Coal Seams
CHARLES B. NEWMARCH
In the course of coal studies undertaken by the B.C. Department of Mines in southeaster British Columbia, special attention was directed to problems of coal seam correlation. Methods that had been used successfully in other coalfields were found, in the Crowsnest area, to have a restricted use or furnished only additional evidence that might prove helpful when used in conjunction with other criteria.
