The Aerofall Mill in the Milling of Industrial Minerals

IN PRESERVING this paper, the author would like to acknowledge the basic development work carried out by the Consolidated Mining & Smelting Company of Canada, without whose initiative the development of the Aerofall mill would not have been possible. In particular, he would like to pay tribute to the late Mr. C. T. Oughtred, Superintendent of Concentration for Cominco, whose vision and research-mindedness was the chief contributing factor in the carrying alo.ng of the original development.
