Symposium on Mineral Exploration
W. G. Robinson, Symposium Chairman
M INING is one of Canada's most important industries and exploration is the life-blood of this dynamic and exciting business. The health and growth of the mining industry of tomorrow depends on the effort and thought that go into exploration today. The Members of the Geology Division of the C.I.M. are directly concerned with exploration, and it is fitting that this Division should periodically sponsor reviews of the thoughts and practices of the exploration community. Accordingly, we have invited seven leading authorities to contribute papers dealing with specialized aspects of this field.
