Some Aspects of Industrial Safety and Accident Prevention in Coal Mines

CIM Bulletin, 1946

V. A. COONEY

FOR the compliment paid me by the Institute's kind invitation to speak this afternoon, I am very grateful. For the astuteness of your officers in determining that encouragement should be given, through the medium of a paper, towards accident prevention in coal mines, the coal industry cannot but be grateful. Some day, and let us hope soon, a more developed paper may supersede this one.
