Review of the Mineral lndustry of Nova Scotia

CIM Bulletin, 1958

IT IS ENOOURAGING indeed to note during the past year that, despite a slackening off in many markets and with numerous major difficulties and problems to solve, the mining industry of Nova Scotia was maintained at a very high level. The value of the Province's mineral production for 1957 amounted to approximately $65,000,000. This represents a drop of only 1.5 per cent from the figure of the previous year.
