Potash Discoveries in Western Canada

DURING the past few years, salt (sodium chloride) strata have been encountered in western Canada in a number of wells, while prospecting for oil and gas. 'The ever increasing number of such wells points to the presence of a vast salt basin, the boundaries of which are at present unknown.
