Operational and Technical Update on Newmont Goldcorp – Éléonore Mine

Éléonore is the first major operating mine in James Bay Territory, Quebec, and has produced more than 1.2 million ounces of gold since October 2014. Technical advances are applied in areas of ventilation, drilling, blasting, material handling, rock mechanics and operational control. Change management and collaboration within the employee groups and between stakeholders are noted as key factors for successful implementation.
