Geology of Cochenour Willans Gold Mine

THE GEOLOGY of the Cochenour Willans gold mine has been described in reports by the late Dr. H. C. Horwood ( 1) in 1940 and by Dr. J. P . Nowlan ( 2 ) in 1947. Information from these and other (unpublished) reports has been incorporated in the present paper together with some recent ideas regarding structural features which are at present being used to locate ore shoots.
