Generating Station Coal Quality

This paper presents a brief picture of the fuel requirements of coal fired electric generating stations. It reports and interprets replies received from these stations in answer to a questionnaire circulated by the Thermal Power Section of the Canadian Electrical Association on the suitability of coal supplies. Comments are made on the competitive position of alterna. te fuels for electrical power generation.
