THE STAFF
THE difficulties to be overcome in shaft sinking and development at depth are centred at Mclntyre in and a round No. 12 shaft. Generally they have been due to increasing pressures and temperatures and to changes in geological structure. This paper describes the difficulties and the measures taken to meet them.
