THE British Columbia Goal Control was established in 1946 as a brancl1 of the Department of Lands. Its functions are the administration of the Goal Act, the making of field and laboratory investigations bearing on the delineation and utilization of British Columbia coal deposits, and the dissemination of information concerning them.
