Automation in the Weyburn Field, Saskatchewan

Automation in the W eyburn field has proved both practical and economical. A continuous-flow fully automatic system has been developed which satisfactorily controls production, is inherently safe, and allows complete recording of test data. A reduction in manpower of 50 per cent. has. yielded outstanding economic gams. Further development of this basic automatic system, improvements in present instruments, and the use of telemetering equipment, should lead to even greater control and economy.
